Costa Cilia Olive Groves

The historic family olive grove, covering 25 hectares, is a unique heritage site that surrounds the Family Farmhouse (Casolare di Famiglia). The olive varieties cultivated include San Felice, Moraiolo, Leccino, and Frantoio, with nearly all the trees being centuries old.

Our “Collezione di Famiglia” oil represents one of our finest products. Only the best batches from the company’s traditional groves are selected for its production. Since 1991, the olive grove has been organically farmed, following strict methods. Harvesting is done 60% by hand and 40% with trunk shakers equipped with integrated nets, ensuring the highest respect for both the product and the environment.

Located in the Colli Martani subzone, this grove is especially notable for the San Felice variety, introduced by the monks of the San Felice Monastery, just 3 km away from the grove.

The soil is stony and loamy, with low levels of phosphorus and potassium, which deeply influence the organoleptic characteristics of the oils. On the other hand, its abundance of calcium and limestone gives the final product a truly unique identity.
